Everyone Needs A Personal Financial Coach - A Money Coach

GTGWAS - Step 1 Topic A Taking Control

A FINANCIAL COACH

Having been in the financial business almost 30yrs, the biggest lesson I learned about money is that “EVERYONE NEEDS A COACH.”  Everyone needs personal financial coach. Just like a pro sports player has a coach and even the people at the gym hire a personal trainer to help get them in shape, you can’t do this alone.  Think of it like going to college and how much you would learn if when you walked in to every classroom there was no teacher.  It was all self-taught. If you had a question the only choice you had was to call an 800 number or research it on the internet, how much would you learn.  How quickly would you get bored and just quit? Everyone needs someone they can ask questions to and get personalized customized answers. You can’t do that reading a book or listening to talk shows. And most important the advice needs to be free. No monetary compensation for the advice.  Why free. It makes for better information given if the coach only gets compensated for helping you make money.  If they make money just for the info, there is no incentive to give great information.  As the coach teaches, the student is learning and growing, and eventually the student needs the coach less and less for the minor decisions.

There is a saying I have been using for years.  It is the philosophy from which I proudly run my business.  I am blessed that I can use this philosophy because of the structure of the company’s business model.  The saying goes like this.

“Never trust your money to someone just because you know them,

You trust your money to someone because you know what they know.”

What does that mean.  You must learn about the personal financial concepts, strategies and products.  It is so easy to do the wrong thing at the wrong time.  Making a financial mistake and not learning about it till years later can be financially devastating to your future.  You cannot make up for time lost.  You can’t go back in time and correct your mistakes.  It is important to do the right thing now and to do that you need to know what the right thing to do is.

This is how I have run my business over the past 28+ years and I will continue to do in the future. My show and these articles are to give you a basic foundation of money and to give you an incentive to want to learn more.  Enjoy the information as feel free to contact me for personalized information.
